Current Career Opportunities:

Sales & Service Engineer

Working as part of a small team, the primary function of the role is to act as technical support for the equipment product range. This can involve answering customer queries by phone/email, supplying requested documentation, visiting customer sites around the world to demonstrate equipment purchased, configuring equipment according to customer requirements. You will also be responsible for carrying out training sessions either at customer sites or at our own on-site training facility.

Whilst the role is at technician grade entry it offers an ideal opportunity for future career progression within the Company.

Your skills and experience

Ideally recently qualified to HND or similar in a mechanical / electrical engineering discipline, you will have a good, general, technical skills-base, with practical experience of electrical appliance fault finding and ideally an understanding of calibration techniques.

  • Experience maintaining machine tools or similar would be advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of pc hardware/component installation would also be useful, together with good report writing skills.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to take part presenting at seminars and offering on-site training to customers so good presentational skills and customer empathy is an essential requirement.

Applicants must have a full driving licence and valid passport, with overnight visits to customers required on some occasions.

Salary: £19,000.00 to £24,000.00 /year

CNC Manufacturing Operators

We are always keen to receive applications from enthusiastic, mechanical engineering apprentice trained individuals having experience in a precision (metal) engineering environment. Specifically our vacancies at the moment consist of:

CNC Turning – 3 shift or 24/7 shift system operation. Previous CNC Turning (Setter/Operator) on fanuc- controlled machines is essential. Some programming experience would be useful. Starting salary after probationary period £24k -27k (incl shift premium).

Centreless Grinding on a 3 shift system AM/PM/Nights (39 hours per week). Previous experience on surface grinding using manual and auto processes required.

CNC Milling - 3 shift system AM/PM/Nights (39 hours per week). Previous experience on CNC Milling on fanuc-controlled machines is essential.

Hobbing - 3 shift or 24/7 shift system operaton. Previous CNC Turning, lathe work or press work experience is essential and previous work on measuring gauges.
