In 2008, a leading nutraceutical manufacturer was experiencing issues with a particularly abrasive formulation of part of their range of vitamins. Only able to produce a limited quantity of tablets before the tooling was worn and deemed unserviceable, new punches were needed.

This case study explains how I Holland worked closely with a manufacturer of one of the world’s favourite range of multi-vitamins to resolve a highly abrasive issue. Through the introduction of a specialised tool coating, PharmaCote RS, tooling life was exted by 93%.
