We are always keen to receive applications from enthusiastic, mechanical engineering apprentice trained individuals having experience in a precision (metal) engineering environment. Specifically our vacancies at the moment consist of:
General Operator – Shaped Tip Grinder
The successful candidate should have:
Good experience of CNC machining (setter/operator level through to ideally editing gained preferably through an apprenticeship scheme).
Previous experience of grinding operations (particularly profile grinding) is desirable and applicants must be able to contribute to on-going developmental improvements within the area.
Due to the nature of the shifts the successful applicant must be capable of working unsupervised, be able to use their own initiative to solve problems and self motivated to meet the necessary targets on output and quality.
Hours of work:
Continuous work pattern of 12-hour days (6am-6pm) and nights (6pm-6am) and your hours will average at 42 hours per week.
