The Position

I Holland implements a solution model, working closely with our customers and agents to identify and resolve issues in the tablet production process, addressing manufacturing challenges even before they manifest in production. In support of this model, I Holland

requires our technical sales team be extremely competent in the tablet manufacturing process, specially tooling design and specification, to allow for the effective communication of technical solutions to an exacting customer base. The ultimate objective of the TSM role is to generate sales growth of all I Holland products and services through the creation of new opportunities and building customers’ loyalty combining direct activity and sound management of agent networks. The successful candidate will have 4 main areas of responsibility:

 

 

  • Troubleshooting complex technical manufacturing issues, becoming the ‘Go-To’ technical resource for I Holland customers in the delivery of value- add engineering
  • The creation and execution of a plan to generate growth and new business within the I Holland strategic vision of value-add engineering
  • The management and support of allocated agents to create an effective, motivated and successful partnership
  • The effective communication with all stakeholders (customers, agents and related functions within our company) to achieve mutual goals

 

It is a truly international role that requires extensive travelling for face-to-face discussions, approx. 40% of the time, within the area of responsibility.

 

 

The candidates

We expect candidates for these roles to have an extremely positive and can-do attitude, a strong work ethic, sense of urgency, problem-solving ability, and a deep understanding of the cultural differences between countries. Some of the qualifications and skills that we are looking for are:

 

  • Engineering degree (BSME preferred) or demonstrated equivalent technical capabilities
  • Foreign language skills at negotiation level
  • Five (5) years field sales or technical support experience
  • Satisfactory test results in qualification process
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal communications skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer / IT systems skills
  • Desire to grow within the organisation
  • Previous experience of working with agents
  • Must demonstrate job longevity

General Operator – Centreless Grinding


The successful candidate should have: 

  • Previous (surface) grinding experience ideally gained on both manual and CNC machines and any other types of grinding or turning skills.
  • Good housekeeping and strict adherence to procedures/work instructions, particularly relating to accurate measurement will also be required for this role.
  • Due to the nature of the shifts the successful applicant must be capable of working unsupervised, be able to use their own initiative to solve problems and self motivated to meet the necessary targets on output and quality. The ability to work as part of a flexible team will also be required in this role.

Hours of work:
3 Shift system AM/PM/Nights (39 hours per week)


The Company reserves the right to make reasonable alterations to the contract, including altering or transferring to other patterns of work.

Shift Premium and Pay:

The starting rate for this position is £10.66, representing 95% of the starting rate for this position. On successful completion of the probationary period the hourly rate will increase to £11.22 per hour plus an average of 18% shift premium for this work pattern when working mornings or afternoons and 33.33% when working the night shifts.

The Position

We are looking for an IT Support Technician with an eagerness to learn, good phone manner and customer service skills. You can either be a technically competent school leaver, graduate or someone with 6 months plus experience in a similar role.

In your new role initially you will see yourself supporting with Hardware builds, support and deployments as well as deploying software to these machines, also acting as first line support for all IT queries providing ad-hoc practical guidance and assistance to colleagues on the operation of hardware and software. The role will also include IT projects support and we continue to grow and develop our Business Systems.
 

 

Desired Qualities, Skills & Knowledge

  • A natural passion for IT
  • Experience working as an IT Technician/technical background
  • Good communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, windows platforms, basic networking, active directory etc.
  • A logical approach to trouble shooting hardware and software issues
  • The ability to take direction and constructive feedback
  • A mature and confident attitude towards work
