I Holland are very grateful to Neil Burton and Scott Reynold, two first aiders on site who saved the life of their colleague after he collapsed on the floor in September.
On Monday, July 3rd, Richard Miller was walking away from his workstation when Neil and Scott saw him collapse to the floor, falling and catching his head on a padded power cable. They immediately began CPR in a fight to re-start his heart while the fire brigade, ambulance and air ambulance were called.
Neil and Scott have now received their Royal Humane Society Resuscitation Certificates – recognition for “the saving of the human life”.
Richard was sent to Queen’s Medical Centre and then City Hospital for intensive care. We are very happy to announce that he has made a full recovery.
I Holland would also like to thank Nottingham’s emergency services for their quick response times and professionalism on this day.
